The Trawler Lights
Trawler lights flicker on the ebbing tide, Bringing their catch from far and wide. Their engines drum, then fade away, They slow then stop at harbour’s bay. Within their holds is the fare of the sea, Prisoners now, but yesterday free. They know not of their fate this day, As the tide, their lives will ebb away.
