The Reflection
Why does the time fly ever so fast, When you want it to go slow. I remember my youth in a different place, Where its gone, I just don't know. Who is this person looking back, From a mirror in my room. It reflects an older version of me, With a heart so full of gloom. Who's face is this who wears a vest, Looks the same as the one I've got, That's the vest I mean, and not the face Though that doesn't look too hot! I smiled and it smiled back at me, Till I moved my arm and found, The one in the mirror had cloth in hand, On his window cleaning round! Richardpeej 2011 |
